The new song serves as the soundtrack to indie movie 'Skate Kitchen', in which the rapper and actor also stars.

AceShowbiz - Not only starring in indie movie "Skate Kitchen", but Jaden Smith also contributed a soundtrack to the flick. The young rapper and actor released a new song titled "Back on My S**t" on Tuesday, September 25. The song was first premiered on Beats 1.

The song finds Jaden flexing his rap skills over a trap beat and distorted vocals. "The Karate Kid" star raps about how he has no stress and is feeling good about his success. "Skate Kitchen on the road/ Here we go, moving fast, I move it slow/ And we wildin' through the city like a storm," he spits. "Put the fire in the wip, handle business/ EYRS run the city, he a menace."

Talking about the song with Zane Lowe on the radio show, Jaden said, "The song's completely inspired by the movie 'Skate Kitchen' that just came out." He continued, "It's about a female crew of skaters in New York City who are trying to find themselves, but they realize that their crew is the only thing that really helps them go through the city and feel like they are a part of something."

Jaden is currently working on his sophomore album "ERYS", which is expected to hit the stores in January 2019. The son of Will Smith teamed up with fellow rappers Young Thug and A$AP Rocky for the upcoming effort.

"[Young Thug] is such an individual and he just pushes boundaries and that's why I always knew that we were destined to do something together," Jaden said of the "Chanel" rapper. "I feel like we kind of saw each other from afar through the internet and I knew that we had a lot in common. I feel like we have a lot of common in the studio too."

"ERYS" will be a follow up to his "SYRE: The Electric Album", which was released on July 12.
