Talking about her 2002 breakout comedy drama, the 'Atonement' actress says that the movie would have been amazing if her character ended up with Parminder Nagra's Jess.

AceShowbiz - Keira Knightley is keen to revisit her break-out movie, "Bend It Like Beckham", because she thinks her character should have been a lesbian.
Gay fans of the 2002 movie are convinced the film would have been an even bigger hit if her character Jules and Parminder Nagra's Jess ended up together. Instead, she hooked up with Jonathan Rhys-Meyers' soccer coach Joe.
Over 16 years later, Keira still believes the film should have been a lesbian love story.
"That would've been amazing," she tells PrideSource. "I think they should've been, too. I think that would've been great. We need a sequel."
