AceShowbiz - Ashley Benson made headlines yesterday when she appeared to confirm her ongoing romance rumors with Cara Delevingne. But before fans of the possible couple could even rejoice, the 28-year-old actress said on Instagram Stories on September 11 that she wasn't the one who confirmed their relationship status.

It all started after Cara posted on Instagram a picture of her at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival. "Mine," Ashley commented on the picture which saw the "Suicide Squad" actress rocking a sheer-paneled Balmain dress. "I can see your [sushi emojis]," the former added in another comment. For those who don't know, the sushi emoji is widely considered as innuendo for a vagina.

Shortly after that, she deleted her comments and posted on Instagram Stories a selfie of herself at an airport. In the caption, the "Pretty Little Liars" actress seemingly explained that the comments were made by a hacker, and not her.

"When you just get off a flight with no WiFi and find out your Instagram got hacked...," she wrote along with a middle finger emoji and a red heart emoji. Shouting out a friend for helping her fix the problem, she added, "Thank god for @remi.franklin fixing it."

Cara and Ashley first sparked romance rumors when they were spotted holding hands during a night out in New York back in April. Adding fuel to the rumors, the two were spotted kissing at Heathrow Airport in London.

Ashley previously broke silence on the dating rumors, but she refused to confirm their relationship. She insisted she would keep quiet when it came to her love life. "I think it's the best way (to be) in any relationship," she said. "I've always been very private about them, and I think it's just better."
