The hunky actor also warns fans about the show's ending, saying that it won't be 'happy.'

AceShowbiz - Kit Harington has some words for fans about the upcoming series finale of his hit medieval series "Game of Thrones". While promoting his new film "The Death and Life of John F. Donovan" at the 2018 Toronto Film Festival, the Jon Snow depicter talked about the ending of fan-favorite's HBO show.

Kit revealed that ending "Game of Thrones", which is set to wrap its story in the upcoming eighth season, was not an easy thing. "I think a TV series that’s spanned eight, nine years is an incredibly difficult thing to end," he said.

The hunky actor also warned fans about the ending. While many are having a high expectation of how things will come to an end on the cult series, the actor admitted that some fans might not be pleased with the series finale. "I think not everyone's going to be happy, you know, and you can’t please everyone."

Co-star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister, also echoed the remarks, saying that the ending would be "very suprising." However, he vowed that it was "very satisfying" and had "all the things I was hoping for."

HBO previously treated fans to a short glimpse of the long-awaited new season. The new footage previewed Jon and Sansa's snowy but warm reunion at Winterfell after the King in the North going beyond the Wall to capture a wight before heading to King's Landing in season 7.

Premiere date of season 8 of "Game of Thrones" has yet to be announced. However, HBO's president of programming Casey Bloys previously said that the show would arrive in the first half of 2019. Fans hoped that the show would return in April, like most of the previous seasons.
