AceShowbiz - Exes Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are reportedly engaged in mediation talks to resolve a clash over the parenting of their three sons.
The No Doubt frontwoman called time on her 13-year marriage to Bush rocker Gavin in August, 2015, amid rumours of his infidelity, and their divorce was made official in 2016.
They had previously agreed to share joint physical and legal custody of their kids, Kingston, 12, Zuma, 10, and four-year-old Apollo, but according to Us Weekly, Gwen and Gavin have since encountered various "parenting issues", and spent all day Wednesday, September 05, at a Los Angeles meeting with their lawyers to try and find a solution.
"The hope is at the end of this, both Gwen and Gavin will agree to take co-parenting classes as that will only benefit the children," the source explains.
Specific details regarding the stars' disagreement have yet to emerge, and representatives for the musicians have not commented on the mediation reports.
The news emerges a year after Gavin revealed the exes had initially tried to salvage their romance with extensive marriage therapy, but nothing worked.
"We had so much counselling; so much counselling, I could be a counsellor," he told U.K. chat show Loose Women. "I tried, I tried hard but that's the way it goes."
"When you look at it, in a weird way, there are no accidents," the Brit continued. "Life works out how it should and I made sure I did everything I could so that if I was sat here two years on, I know I tried everything I could, as opposed to being steadfast or arrogant or assuming I didn't need help or we didn't need help. I kind of embraced the help."
Both rockers have since moved on - Gwen has been happily dating country star Blake Shelton since the autumn of 2015, while Gavin has been linked to model Sophia Thomalla since early 2017.
