AceShowbiz - Julia Louis-Dreyfus feels "different" after reflecting on her battle against breast cancer.

The "Veep" star announced her diagnosis in an emotional Twitter message posted last September and had to put her hit HBO show on hold as she underwent treatment for the disease. Julia completed her chemotherapy treatment in January and following surgery the following month, reunited with the "Veep" cast and crew in August. In a new interview with InStyle U.S., the actress opened up about how the experience changed her.

"I do feel different, but I can't quite articulate how," she told the publication. "I've come out the other side of this, and I'm still not exactly sure how to define the difference other than to say I'm grateful, of course," Dreyfus shared. "But it's more than that. It's bigger."

Julia, who has won nine Emmys for her role as Selina Meyer, is now working on the political satire's seventh and final season. Additionally, she has been appointed as Saks Fifth Avenue Key to the Cure ambassador, and helped design a new shirt, where sales will benefit the AiRS Foundation, a non-profit that helps women finance breast reconstruction after a mastectomy.

"There are plenty of women who decide not to get reconstruction, which is fine, but if you want it and can't afford it, that's heartbreaking to me," she lamented. "I'm lucky enough to be in a union where I get fabulous benefits. Not everyone is so lucky."

Now, Julia is adamant that she will never look back on her cancer battle: only forward.

"We'll finish an episode, and I am just ready for the next thing... I'm always just moving on," she smiled.
