The makeup mogul is hoping to get Chris Young, a man who was sentenced to life in prison for marijuana and cocaine possession, released.

AceShowbiz - Just because Kim Kardashian has successfully helped Alice Marie Johnson free from jail, it doesn't mean her work is finally over for good. During her appearance on Jason Flom's "Wrongful Conviction" podcast, which will air on September 5, she says that she is currently working on getting another non-violent drug offender pardoned.

In a preview which is obtained by Page Six, the makeup maven shares that she has been talking with Chris Young, a man who was sentenced to life in prison for marijuana and cocaine possession. Kim is hoping to get him released.

"When I was talking to Chris Young, who's in prison [and] has sickle cell anemia... So he's had to have a few surgeries and he's been in a medical facility for a few years, and he goes back into the maximum-security prison where lifers have to go," she said.

Kim continues sharing, "He was saying, 'I can stay out of the trouble in here, but going in there there's stabbings, there's this. And if you're near that you can get in trouble so easily.' He just didn't want to get caught up in a situation that had nothing to do with him, but could very much have."

"It's scary when you have a minor drug charge but then you get life and you're stuck in this crazy-maximum security prison with murderers and people [like that]," she continued. "It's a completely different environment than they environment that he's so used to."

Back in June, Alice Marie Johnson was freed from jail after the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star convinced President Donald Trump to grant the 62-year-old clemency during a meeting in the White House. Kim celebrated Alice's freedom by taking to her Twitter account to write, "BEST NEWS EVER!!!!"
