The rapper confirms that he will spend a few weeks in jail after getting arrested in August for driving without a valid license.

AceShowbiz - Lil Pump has confirmed he's going to jail for "a couple of months" following his arrest in August for driving without a valid license.

The 18-year-old rapper, real name Gazzy Garcia, posted a video to his Instagram account on Monday night, September 03, explaining that while the offence was minor, he has since violated his probation and will be going away for a few weeks.

"Listen up y'all," he said in the clip. "I'm just going to get straight to the point. You saw what happened in Miami. I got arrested for some bulls**t or whatever. So, I'm on probation in L.A. I just violated my P.O. (probation) so I gotta go in and do a couple months (sic)."

The rapper didn't provide details about how he violated probation.

His management will reportedly be handling his social media accounts while he is behind bars and the young star assured fans they could still expect music from him over the coming months.

"I got some crazy a*s s**t droppin' while I'm in there, so I'm gonna have something for y'all (sic)," he smiled. "Don't worry. It's gonna be crazy."

He added: "Listen up kids: Stay in school, don't f**k up like me."

Lil Pump was pulled over by police officers on 29 August while driving his Rolls-Royce around Miami after they discovered the license plate on his luxury car belonged to a Mini Cooper. When cops asked Pump for his driver's license, he allegedly told them he'd never had one.

He was taken into custody and booked at Miami-Dade County Jail.
