Taking to Instagram, the 32-year-old reality TV star shared the devastating news and thanked people who gave her support and positive energy.

AceShowbiz - Jamie Otis revealed heartbreaking news on her Instagram account on August 2. The "Married at First Sight" star told her followers that she suffered a miscarriage just two days after she shared on the photo-sharing platform a picture of a seemingly positive pregnancy test.
She posted an adorable picture of her and her one-year-old daughter, Henley Grace, lying next to each other. "Sorry I've been MIA, this very bizarre positive pregnancy test then negative test then faint positive lines gave me hope that Gracie was going to become a big sis in 9 months," she wrote in the caption. "But the night before last I began having terrible contraction-like pains & spotting. Then over the night full blown everything - if you know what i mean."
"I'm a nurse so I had my suspicions; but my midwife confirmed I had a chemical pregnancy," Jamie revealed. "I don't know why some people have it seemingly SO easy to get preggers & carry their babies to term and others struggle?"
A chemical pregnancy is an early miscarriage which occurs before the fifth week of gestation and well before the fetus can be visibly detected on an ultrasound. If someone suffers a chemical pregnancy, her test result is initially positive but then it is usually followed by a negative result.
Despite the miscarriage, the TV personality claimed that she was thankful that her daughter and husband Doug Hehner were there for her through the hard time. "What i do know is that i am so, so thankful for this little girl [and her daddy] right here," she said. "It's like she knew mommy was in so much pain bcs she just wanted to be held and snuggled all night long."
"I also want to THANK YOU. I was hoping that if I put it out there that maybe all your prayers and positive energy would help me along this pregnancy," Jamie continued, thanking her followers. "I'll forever be grateful for YOU." She added that she would keep trying to have another pregnancy, "We have to wait a cycle before trying again, but I am on a mission to make Gracie a big sis now."
Jamie ended her lengthy caption by thanking her followers again, "Thanks again for being the most loving, supportive, positive little community here on my instagram. I feel like I have a million sisters/friends who i call my 'frans' right here and I appreciate you, your prayers, your thoughts and words of love for me and my little family more than you'll ever know!"
Prior to the miscarriage, Jamie shared a picture of herself with a seemingly positive pregnancy test. "I believe in the power of positivity, I feel what you put out into universe WILL come to you and I know deep in my soul that prayers are answered," she captioned the post. "If I stare long enough I see the faintest '+' sign...Do you see it or am I just cray cray?!"
Even though the positive sign was barely seen on the test pack, Jamie's followers already congratulated her. "You will be blessed with another little one, I'm sure of it. I do see a faint line as well. Congratulations Mamma!" one person said. "Definitely positive!!! Congratulations mama! Mine are 22 months apart and the age difference is perfect," another one added as one individual wrote, "Congratulations!! to yall both so happy for yall. In Jesus name you will have fullterm healthy pregnancy."
Jamie also had a miscarriage when she was pregnant with a baby boy in 2016 and she announced the heartbreaking news on the same social media platform. "Our Baby Hehner was just too beautiful for earth. I love him so much - ALWAYS will - and can't wait to meet him in heaven one day. Please pray for us," she wrote in an emotional caption.
