'Everything a Good Man Needs' will be released on longtime pal Scott Sharrard's new LP, 'Saving Grace'.

AceShowbiz - The last track Gregg Allman wrote has been released online.

The late rocker's longtime guitarist, Scott Sharrard, has shared Everything a Good Man Needs, which features vocals from blues legend Taj Mahal.

The track was supposed to feature on Allman's swansong album, Southern Blood, but health problems didn't allow him to complete the song in time, and now it will appear on Sharrard's new LP, Saving Grace.

The song also features Aretha Franklin's longtime drummer and music director Bernard Purdie.

"We just wanted to do a fun, funky blues song about finding love out on the road," Sharrard says. "I know that Gregg would be thrilled to have Taj and Bernard playing our song."

The guitarist's new album will be released on 21 September.

Allman died after suffering complications from liver cancer, aged 69, in May, 2017.
