AceShowbiz - Summer is already over, and so is Kendall Jenner and Ben Simmons' relationship. Multiple sources report that the 22-year-old model and the basketball player have ended their summer fling three months after they were reported to be dating.

Kendall and Ben allegedly are still keeping in touch and "texting," but the former "has been spending time with other people" and is "definitely not set on him." A source tells E! News that she never considers herself "fully committed" to the Philadelphia 76ers star.

"She always wanted to keep her options open. She likes Ben but she knew it was more of a summer fling. They both have busy careers and it is what it is," the source explains. "Kendall isn't looking for anything serious. She had fun with Ben, but wasn't ever fully committed or looking for a long-term, exclusive relationship."

While the source shares that there is no specific reason as to why the two decide to call it quits, a second insider reveals to Us Weekly that their relationship "is fizzling and dissipating due to scheduling conflict." The source adds, "Kendall is so busy and has so much going on and doesn't want to wait around for anyone. She knows there's always a hot new fling waiting around the corner for her."

Ben and Kendall were first said to be romantically linked to each other back in May, when they were spotted on multiple occasions together. Prior to the dating rumors, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star allegedly dated the likes of A$AP Rocky, Harry Styles and Blake Griffin. As for Ben, he once dated Tinashe.

Unlike her other sisters, Kendall has always been private when it comes to her love life. "I'm not like all my other sisters, who are like, 'Here's me and my boyfriend!' " she previously said in an interview. "I would always go that extra mile to be low-key with guys, sneaking around all the time."
