The DJ and record producer unveiled 'Michael Jackson x Mark Ronson: Diamonds are Invincible' on Wednesday, August 29.

AceShowbiz - Mark Ronson has released a special remix in honour of the late Michael Jackson's birthday.

Working in partnership with officials from the Estate of Michael Jackson and Sony Music, the DJ and record producer unveiled "Michael Jackson x Mark Ronson: Diamonds are Invincible" on Wednesday, August 29 to mark what would have been the King of Pop's 60th birthday.

"It was such an amazing, awe-inspiring and insanely intimidating task to put this together, although you'd need hours and hours to fit all of Michael's classic tunes into one track," said Ronson in a statement. "I wanted this to feel like being on the dance floor at a sweaty, wild NYC club getting down to as much MJ as possible in five minutes."

The song contains a mash-up of some of Jackson's biggest hits, including "The Way You Make Me Feel", "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'", "Billie Jean", "Smooth Criminal", "You Rock My World", "Human Nature" and "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough".

It was such an amazing, awe-inspiring and insanely intimidating task to put this together. Although you’d need hours and hours to fit all of Michael’s classic tunes into one track, I wanted this to feel like being on the dancefloor at a sweaty, wild NYC club—getting down to as much MJ as a DJ could tastefully throw on in five minutes. i was also lucky enough to get some of the original multi tracks and, although you can’t ever hope to improve on the Mona Lisa, i wanted to let people hear some things they might have not heard. the power of hearing MJ’s lead vocals isolated was so insane, often times i’d get lost in his voice and completely forget to bring the rhythm track back in. Michael’s vocals were an entire band anyway, drums percussion bass and all. anyway, i hope you enjoy. and Happy Birthday MJ p.s. i CAN’t Wait for you to hear the full extended version i made with even more tunes and unreleased MJ coming soon… LISTEN NOW. link In BIO
