The 'Dangerous Woman' hitmaker's comment comes after her fiance said a similar thing about their first meeting when Ariana hosted 'Saturday Night Live' two years ago.

AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande knew she was going to marry Pete Davidson two years before they started dating.
The No Tears Left To Cry singer and Saturday Night Live comedian made headlines in June with news of their engagement, which came just weeks after the couple went public with their new romance.
Sitting down with Jimmy Fallon on Thursday's (August 16) The Tonight Show, the 25-year-old songstress hosted a pseudo listening party for her new album Sweetener, which dropped during her appearance on the show, and addressed the aptly named track Pete Davidson, which Ariana reportedly wrote just a week after they started dating.
Opening up about the beginning of their relationship, the Dangerous Woman singer admitted that the couple actually met in March 2016 when she hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live - and it was then that she knew she would wind up marrying the star.
"We never exchanged numbers or anything. We weren't even like friends for the longest time," she explained. "But I had the biggest crush in the whole world on him the whole time, like forever. Like, my friends used to make fun of me for it, all that stuff."
"I left his writers' room when we were writing skits and stuff for the show, and my tour manager was in the hallway, and I'm not a crushy person, like I don't have crushes on people I don't know, but I left and I like jokingly said to my tour manager, 'I'm marrying him. 100 per cent. I'm literally marrying him'. And we weren't even friends (at that time)."
Ariana's comments come just days after her funnyman beau echoed her sentiments in an interview with GQ America, as he opened up about living in their luxury New York apartment and adjusting to fame now that he's engaged to a "super-famous person".
"The day I met her, I was like, 'Hey, I'll marry you tomorrow,'" the 24-year-old gushed. "She was calling my bluff. I sent her a picture (of engagement rings). I was like, 'Do you like any of these?' She was like, 'Those are my favourite ones,' and I was like, 'Sick.'"
Ariana and Pete began dating in May, shortly after ending long-term relationships with rapper Mac Miller and Cazzie David, the daughter of comedy icon Larry David, respectively.
