The adult film star, who was said to join the new season of the reality competition series, reportedly pulls out of the show after producers refused her demands to be paid another $130,000.

AceShowbiz - Stormy Daniels has sensationally quit Celebrity Big Brother on the show's launch night after an angry argument with producers over cash.

Viewers of the U.K. reality show were left disappointed and baffled when the adult film star, who found international fame after claiming she had a fling with U.S. President Donald Trump in 2006, was not among the 13 celebrities who entered the house on Thursday night, August 16.

Initial reports claimed she would be a late entrant - but a show source tells U.K. tabloid The Sun she's now heading back to America after a furious row with producers.

"Stormy landed in London and was taken to the Village Hotel in Elstree (north London) where the celebs are put up," the TV insider says. "From the outset it was clear something was wrong and once she sat down with the producers all hell broke loose. They just didn't get on."

The 39-year-old was reportedly due to make a hefty $950,000 (£750,000) fee - but she apparently backed out after producers refused her demands to be paid another $130,000 (£100,000) to go in as planned.

"They tried everything to persuade her to stay and no one could work out why she'd fly all the way from the US to London before deciding to drop out. Let alone turning down that massive fee," The Sun's source explains.

Her departure has apparently left producers particularly red-faced as the Celebrity Big Brother launch show set had been designed to reference the 39-year-old's alleged affair with the President.

"Everything in the house was ready for her! That massive mock-up of the White House was all for Stormy," the shocked TV insider reveals, adding that executives at U.K. network Channel 5 are "baffled" by her behaviour.

Channel 5 representatives and Stormy's team did not respond to requests for comment.

Over in the U.S., Stormy, real name Stephanie Clifford, is currently embroiled in multiple lawsuits against the president and his former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen. She alleges the lawyer gave her $130,000 in "hush money" to stop her damaging the Donald's 2016 election chances by going public with her claims.
