The Duchess of Sussex wants her retired lighting director father to stop giving paid interview and further adding drama and just contact her in a 'respectful' way.

AceShowbiz - Meghan Markle has set some rules for herself and her dad Thomas Markle. The Duchess of Sussex reportedly refuses to talk to Thomas unless he decides to stop dishing to the tabloid and reach to her in a "respectful" manner.
"The only reason Meghan hasn't spoken to her father yet is because she's yet to hear from him in a respectful manner," a source reveals to Daily Mail. "Thomas is speaking to the press more than he’s reached out and spoken to his own daughter."
"Despite Thomas’s claim that he has no way to reach Meghan, he knows that her mother Doria is in touch with her and Thomas knows how to reach Doria," the source continues.
"If Thomas truly wanted to speak with Meghan, he could easily have sent a letter to her mother and asked her to pass it along," the source adds. "Unfortunately that wouldn't sell papers or fit into his fabricated and salacious narrative."
Previous report suggested that Kensington Palace was considering an "aggressive strategy" to deal with Thomas. "The Palace, who normally takes a firm policy of not commenting on personal matters, is now considering a more aggressive strategy to deal with the situation with both her father and her sister," said a source. "No one wants to see this continue."
"The Palace is at a loss of what to do and is re-evaluating options, including a more aggressive strategy to stem the embarrassment caused by Meghan's dad, half-sister and half-brother," the source continued.
According to the source, Meghan "has not spoken to her father in more than 10 weeks since her wedding. The new royal was allegedly "still hurt by her father, who has both staged the photos and continues to give paid interviews."
