AceShowbiz - New Kids On The Block are set to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their breakthrough album Hangin' Tough by returning to New York's famed Apollo Theater.

The boyband stars will grace the stage at the legendary Harlem venue on 7 October for the first time since winning over the notoriously tough crowd at the Apollo's renowned amateur night at the very start of their careers back in 1988, when they debuted Please Don't Go Girl.

The track featured on the group's sophomore album, Hangin' Tough, which catapulted the singers to global fame.

Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood, and Jonathan and Jordan Knight are now preparing to head back to their pop roots to mark the anniversary with a special concert at the Apollo.

"We are so excited to announce a one night only show to celebrate the 30 year anniversary of Hangin' Tough!" the stars announced on Twitter. "No better place to celebrate than the @ApolloTheater in New York on October 7th!"
