AceShowbiz - Reality TV star Bethenny Frankel has broken her silence following the death of her on/off boyfriend by paying tribute to him online.
Dennis Shields, 51, died on Friday, August 10 at his New York City apartment after suffering a suspected drug overdose.
Family and friends mourned his loss at a funeral in Long Island on Monday morning (August 13), when Bethenny was pictured sobbing, and shortly after the ceremony, she took to Instagram to honour his memory.
Alongside a snap of Dennis lying back-to-back in bed with her dog Cookie, who died earlier this year, she wrote, "Rest In Peace my sweet babies who gave me endless unconditional love #nowandforever."
"The Real Housewives of New York City" regular had been longtime friends with Dennis, and they began dating in 2016.
