Most recently, the actor and rapper offered to buy a woman's $375 groceries at the market while he only identified himself as Chris.

AceShowbiz - Ludacris has proven that he is a generous person by paying for a number of strangers' groceries. According to many witnesses, the Illinois-born rapper is often spotted shopping at Whole Foods Market and buying groceries for people in need.

Most recently, a woman claimed that the "What's Your Fantasy" rapper paid for her groceries when she was shopping at Whole Foods Market last month. The lucky woman, whose name is Therra Gwyn Jaramillo, shared her experience with the rapper on her Facebook account on July 30.

On the post, Therra said that she went shopping at the supermarket after she received a $250 gift card from one of her friends, whom she called Miracle Mary. Unfortunately, her groceries cost more than she could afford. "The gift card was for $250 and I had gone way over, which at Whole Foods is far too easy to do," Therra told her Facebook friends. "I was out of a lot of things at home and I hadn't added things in my head correctly."

Therra revealed how a man who stood in front of her at the cashier offered to pay for her $375 groceries, "He stopped me, 'I said I got this, all of this,' he told me. All of my groceries." Stunned by the man's generosity, the woman then started crying and asked his name. The 40-year-old actor and rapper only identified himself as Chris.

"We shook hands. Then I hugged him, shedding tears on the tattoo on his shoulder," Therra wrote. "I thanked him but I was so stunned that even as we made small talk (he asked me about my four dogs) I tripped over my words, all the while thinking, 'I'm talking to an angel. Should I tell him? Should I tell him he's an angel?' "

As if paying for a complete stranger's $375 groceries was not enough, Ludacris even offered to help her carry the groceries to her car. "After he paid my for ALL my stuff ($375 total) he said, 'They'll make sure you get all this out to your car, okay? Do you need any help?' " the lucky shopper shared. Therra politely refused his help and he left. She later figured the man was actually Ludacris, whose real name is Christopher Bridges.

"The cashier came around to put the last of my treasures into my cart and said casually to me, 'You know that's Ludacris, right?' " Therra stated. "Ludacris. This guy is awesome run amok. You know why? He was just doing something kind for a disheveled, harried stranger. Showing the love in his soul. Shining a light in the world."

Another lucky woman also shared the story of his generosity on Twitter on May 21. "Ludacris just bought my cousins groceries in a Whole Foods in ATL," the woman wrote. "And let's just add that to the list of reasons to live there."

Whole Foods Market seems to be Ludacris' favorite place to shop as many people claimed that they met him there. "Pretty convinced I'm standing next to Ludacris at Meijer right now. Idk, maybe he'll buy my groceries," an onlooker shared on the micro-blogging site.

"I just saw @Ludacris at whole foods lol blending in...he was with family so I didn't want to bring any attention to him #respect #HappyEasterWeekend. Pretty sure I will see him again," another one wrote.

"@Ludacris my boy spotted you out here in Oxnard at the whole foods but he was scared to say hi. You here just chilling in the 805?" one person said.

Ludacris' manager Chaka Zulu confirmed the reports about the hip-hop star doing his own grocery shopping at the market. "Funny thing, Luda does these things all the time," Chaka told The New York Times. "But he doesn't want to do interviews to highlight it. It's just his heart."
