The new four-part documentary series will feature her spending a week in the Hyde Park region of Leeds, England, where her famous mum grew up.

AceShowbiz - Mel B's daughter Phoenix Chi Gulzar will discover what her life would have been like if her mother wasn't famous in a new U.K. documentary series.

Phoenix has signed up to participate in new four-part series "Born Famous", in which she will spend a week in the Hyde Park region of Leeds, England, where her mum grew up, to find out how different her life would have been had she not grown up with a famous parent.

To explore her "alternative life", which has been mapped out by social mobility experts, the 19-year-old will be paired with a local teenager to discover how life could have turned out, and confront "feelings of privilege, class and celebrity and uncovering the realities of social mobility in 2018," according to a press release from broadcaster Channel 4.

She will also learn how different it is to be young in modern Britain compared to when her mum was growing up, and consider whether the Spice Girls star would have "made it" if she was young now.

"We're hugely excited to be making this inspiring series which shows some of our biggest celebrities in a way you have never seen, through the eyes of their teenage children," executive producer Helen Cooke said in a statement. "It promises to be compelling TV as the famous teens come to terms with their own privilege, whilst delivering searingly honest accounts of what it is like for young people growing up in Britain today."

The series will be made by Studio Ramsay, the television production company set up by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. His 18-year-old son Jack will take part in the show, living in Oxfordshire for a week, while Bethany Mone, daughter of Ultimo founder Michelle Mone, will spend time Glasgow, Scotland, and Ria Ince, daughter of former England soccer captain Paul Ince, will go to Essex, England.

Phoenix is Mel's only child from her marriage to dancer Jimmy Gulzar. She also has daughters Angel, 11, from a brief relationship with Eddie Murphy, and Madison, six, from her marriage to Stephen Belafonte. Their divorce was finalised last year and they reached a custody settlement over Madison this week (begin August 06).
