The songstress has been staying in the hospital since Monday, August 6 to receive treatment and recover from the virus.

AceShowbiz - Pink has postponed a third concert in Sydney, Australia following her hospitalisation with a gastric virus.

The Raise Your Glass hitmaker postponed her first show last week, ends August 05, as she was battling an upper respiratory tract infection, and she had recovered in time for a performance at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena at the weekend.

However, her health took a turn on Sunday night and she was admitted to hospital suffering from dehydration. She was treated and then discharged from the facility, before she returned on Monday, when she was diagnosed with a gastric virus.

As a result, she had to axe a second show on Monday, and representatives for promoters Live Nation have now announced that she has been forced to cancel a third concert on Tuesday.

"Pink's performance scheduled for tonight at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena has been postponed," they wrote on Twitter. "Pink was admitted to Hospital on Sunday night, treated and discharged. She was readmitted on Monday. A further announcement will be made when an update becomes available."

The 38-year-old had been kept in hospital overnight on Monday as she received treatment and continued to recover from the virus.

She is next set to perform at the venue on Thursday followed by another four dates. The three cancelled shows are set to be rescheduled.

Pink recently assured fans she was genuinely sick after she was pictured laying on a beach in Byron Bay with her seven-year-old daughter Willow shortly after she scrapped her first show.

"You can think whatever you want, it's your right, but I have never taken advantage of anyone in my entire life," she wrote. "I have never f**ked off while disrespecting hard-working people who spend money to come see me play. I have never phoned in a single tour, I have an impeccable record for not cancelling... As I said, I'm sorry to the real fans who this situation has affected."
