The 'Ice Cream' hitmaker admits she has been dating her fellow Triple H member for two years after their agency initially denied it.

AceShowbiz - Triple H's members HyunA and E'Dawn are indeed an item. When their dating rumors first emerged on Thursday afternoon, August 2, their agency denied it, saying that the news was "groundless." However, on late evening, the two stars held an interview with Yeonhap News where they confirmed their relationship.
"We know that we will constantly be tagged onto each other's names from now on, but still, we thought that it would be hard to look straight into the eyes of our fans once we got on stage," they explained their decision to come clean about their relationship. "That's why we wanted to be honest at least to our fans who love and watch over us, and then go in front of them with our confidence and joy on stage."
HyunA then shared, "I got to know E'Dawn when he was a trainee and we performed on stage together, and then we started dating in May of 2016." Back in 2015, E'Dawn joined HyunA onstage to perform "Roll Deep", her collaboration with BTOB's Ilhoon.
"Our relationship continued as we made music together," she continued. "We were very careful... Even though he's not in the credits, there are many portions in my solo album where E'Dawn helped me with the details."
HyunA also explained her decision to go public with her romantic relationship for the first time since her debut was to be as honest as possible to those who "appreciate our decision." E'Dawn added, "It may not be the most realistic, but I thought that admitting would lead to true happiness. I was also worried that it would affect my members, so I told them first. I am very sorry to my fans, but I will repay you with hard work and promotions."
After the confession, HyunA took to her Instagram account to apologize to fans for not coming clean about it right away and thank them for their support. "Honestly, I wanted to be truthful. For my fans who are always cheering me on and watching over me, I want to stand on stage and do well like I always do, having fun and being confident. Simply saying thank you and I love you doesn't cut it, but I have no other way of expressing myself," so the 26-year-old singer wrote.
Just hours after HyunA and E'Dawn's dating reports emerged, E'Dawn's fellow Pentagon member Hui was also swept in dating scandal with (G)I-DLE's Soojin. Pictures of the two idols on a date in a shopping center surfaced online. Though their faces were not seen in the photos, fans recognized the girl is indeed Soojin based on her bag and sandals.
The two stars' agency Cube Entertainment later claimed that the pair were indeed dating, but had broken up. "After we checked with the two in question, we were informed that the two have already broken up," a rep for the company said.
