The former U.S. President and the former First Lady dance the night away in their box seats at the 'On the Road II' tour stop near Washington D.C.

AceShowbiz - Barack Obama and Michelle Obama spent their weekend together at Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z's "On the Road II" tour concert on Saturday night, July 28. The power couple was spotted dancing the night away together in their box seats during the concert which took place at FedEx field in Landover, Maryland.

Several concertgoers recorded the moment when Barack and Michelle danced to Bey and Jay's recent single "Apes**t". In one video, the couple got out of their seats and threw their hands in the air. "It looked like they had a great time," one of onlookers told E! News. "Every time we turned around, they were enjoying themselves and in the moment. It did feel like they were just like us."

The former First Lady seems to really enjoy the music from the Carters as she previously attended the tour stop in Paris, on July 15. Joined by her daughter Sasha and Malia Obama, as well as Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles, Michelle was seen dancing and bopping to music during the concert. They kept it classy by involving only claps, hip movements and head bobs. There were no twerk dance or anything inappropriate.

The Obamas are known to have a good friendship with Beyonce and Jay-Z for over a decade. The songstress performed "At Last" for President Barack Obama and his wife at an Inauguration ceremony in 2009. The Grammy Award winner also performed the National Anthem at President Obama's second Inauguration in 2013 and sang at Michelle's 50th birthday party in 2014.

A year later, Michelle returned the favor by making an appearance onstage during the "Crazy in Love" songstress' concert at the Global Citizen Festival in 2015. The former President of the United States is also good friends with the rapper, whose real name is Shawn Corey Carter. During Jay-Z's induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2017, Barack claimed that he was a fan of the "Holy Grail" hitmaker.

"Like all of you, I am a fan, and I've been listening to Jay since I was a young and hungry state senator," the 44th president of the United States said. "I sampled his lyrics to close my speech at Selma. I tweeted a reference to 'My First Song' as I was putting my finishing touches on my State of the Union address. I was brushing dirt off my shoulders during a campaign." <.p>

"I like to think Mr. Carter and I understand each other. Nobody who met us as younger men would have expected us to be where we are today," Barack added. "We know what it's like not to have a father around, we know what it's like not to come from much, and to know people who didn't get the same breaks that we did."
