AceShowbiz - Alex Rodriguez has a touching and sweet message for girlfriend Jennifer Lopez on her 49th birthday. The former baseball shortstop took to Instagram on Tuesday, July 24 to share a series of never-before-seen photos of his singer girlfriend and let her know how much he loves her.
"When we were kids, birthdays were exciting because it was all about the gifts we would be getting. A new bat, dance shows, maybe a new CD (yes I'm old!)," he wrote alongside the pictures. "I see firsthand how that's changed for Jennifer, and how she's found joy in sharing with others. For someone who has been about giving everything she has 365 days a year -- to our children, our families, the world -- I hope today, we can give you all the happiness you deserve. I love you mucho Macha 13."
His birthday tribute didn't stop there as he later followed it up with another series of photos of Jenny. Among them were pictures of the "Shades of Blue" star dancing, applying makeup to his daughter and biking with Alex. "Birthday girl," he simply captioned the images.
Jenny and Alex are currently celebrating her birthday along with their own children at Baker's Bay resort in the Bahamas. An insider revealed to E! News that the group arrived at the beachfront house on Sunday, July 22 and spent "their first day at the beach playing in the water and building castles in the sand."
While the children "were running around playing games and splashing in the water," the power couple "watched them from the shore and were taking pictures of everything." The insider noted, "They loved being outside and strolling around the beach."
"In the evening, they watched the sunset while the kids played in the water. It was beautiful and peaceful with nobody around," the source continued. "They just listened to the waves as a family and then went right inside their house for dinner."
