AceShowbiz - Deadpool 2 director David Leitch is reportedly circling the Enter the Dragon remake.

The filmmaker is in early talks to revamp martial arts legend Bruce Lee's iconic 1973 movie, which was released shortly after the actor's death.

News of Leitch's interest in the project comes days after the 45th anniversary of Bruce Lee's passing in July, 1973.

The movie, about a Shaolin fighter seeking vengeance on the karate thugs who forced his sister to kill herself, was an instant cult classic upon its release, and sparked a massive rise in the interest of martial arts around the world.

Robert Clouse directed the original and both Spike Lee and Brett Ratner have been attached to remakes in the past.

Former stuntman Leitch also co-directed John Wick and Charlize Theron's Atomic Blonde.
