AceShowbiz - Busy Philipps is recovering after falling following an intense workout.
The 39-year-old actress shared a photo of herself in a hospital bed following a scary fall in Los Angeles on Saturday, July 21.
"So on brand it hurts. But really. It f**king hurts," she captioned the snap of her looking disgruntled. "My knee isn't broken! But the orthopedist (sic) wants me to get an MRI next week since it's the same knee I have a pin in - (and he wants me to use crutches)."
Taking to her Instagram Story later on Saturday, she told her 1.1 million followers what happened to her after her intense LEKfit workout, which she regularly documents on social media.
"You guys, I just super brutally fell to the ground, in the street," the I Feel Pretty star said, while visibly emotional. "It was horrible."
Explaining when the fall happened, she said: "And I'm still sweating from my workout and I was by myself. And you know how horrible it is to fall by yourself. And now my knee hurts really bad and I broke my fingernails off."
Despite her injury, Busy laughed as she revealed she went back inside Starbucks to get a new drink after spilling her old one outside the coffee shop: "I said to the guy, 'The only thing more humiliating than the fact that I just fell into the street is that I destroyed my new Starbucks. Will you give me another one?' He said O.K."
"I couldn't do better press for my book if I tried," she laughed as she told the camera about her upcoming memoir titled This Will Only Hurt A Little. "Have to go to the ER (emergency room) as I might have broken my knee."
The mother-of-two later shared an Instagram Story as she was being discharged from hospital, explaining to fans she was lucky to avoid a break, but needed to use crutches.
"The good news is, I did not break my knee," she said glumly, as she held up a pair of crutches.
