AceShowbiz - Meghan Markle's half-sister Samantha Markle a.k.a. Samantha Grant reportedly joins "Celebrity Big Brother" for its upcoming season, which will premiere on August 17 on U.K.'s Channel 5. Samantha seems excited about the possibility of her starring on the reality TV show as she implies that she will take the chance to be part of it.

"Why not?" Samantha replies when she is asked about the reports. "Life is about cashing in and you take opportunities as they arise and you enjoy the ride and you can make it as positive as you can," the Duchess of Sussex's half-sister tells Inside Edition. "There's nothing wrong with it."

Samantha then is asked if her appearance on the TV show will bring her closer to her sister and Prince Harry. Samantha clearly doesn't want to talk about her sister. "The purpose of that show would not be to discuss her," she answers. "Oh you know the first thing they would ask you would be about Meghan," the reporter hits her back. "Ohhh," the 53-year-old woman replies, seemingly realizing that the reporter was right. She then just raises her eyebrows and smiles instead.

It will make sense if Samantha appears on "Celebrity Big Brother" since the show's theme for this year is "Eye of the Storm", in which all of the houseguests will be people who have been involved in media scandals.

The former lover of "The Predator" writer and director Shane Black recently made headlines after she slammed the former "Suits" star on Twitter for icing out their father. "My father is not an embarrassment for loving his daughter! The royals are an embarrassment for being so cold," she wrote on her private account. "You should be ashamed of yourselves @KensingtonRoyal."

"How about you pay tribute to your own father?! Enough is enough," she continued her rant. "Act like a humanitarian act like a woman! If our father dies I'm holding you responsible, Meg!"
