AceShowbiz - British actress Roxanne Pallett has been hospitalised after a high-speed crash.
The former Emmerdale star, 36, was taking part in a stock car race with her radio show co-host Ben Fry in York when the accident took place.
She lost control of her vehicle on a bend and smashed it into a concrete wall. She was airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary after firefighters reportedly spent almost two hours cutting her out of the car.
