The 24-second teaser clip shows the British singer wearing a mask as he breaks past into a building to steal a diamond.

AceShowbiz - Zayn Malik has a new song and its music video treatment coming soon. Ahead of the release of "Sour Diesel", the former One Direction member took to social media on Tuesday, July 17 to treat fans to a snippet of the music video.

It appears Zayn will be playing a criminal in the upcoming visuals. As shown in the 24-second teaser, the British singer is wearing a mask as he breaks past bars into a building to steal a diamond. It looks like there will also be some intense fight scenes as he is seen pouring gasoline all over a dead body and blowing up the entire building. The single cover is revealed at the end of the short clip, showing Zayn with his face completely covered by an iron mask.

The music video for "Sour Diesel" will be released on Wednesday, July 18 on Apple Music. It's unknown when he will premiere it on other video streaming platforms.

"Sour Diesel" will be the third single off his highly-anticipated sophomore album, following "Let Me" and "Entertainer". Details of the album itself have been kept under wraps, but the singer recently revealed that the album is already finished and titled.

"It's all very under wraps at the minute. I'm trying to keep it as mysterious as possible, but there's a plan with the roll out," Zayn said in an interview with Zane Lowe of Beats 1. "It's going to be different than anything anyone has done before. It's going to be interesting to see how the audience reacts to this kind of release. I wanted to try something different. I think it's all going to make sense in the end when the album finally drops."

The album will be a follow-up to his debut solo album "Mind of Mine". Rumor has it, the project is due out in summer 2018.
