AceShowbiz - Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston's new Apple show has a director - Mimi Leder.
One of only three women to pick up a Best Director Emmy, the ER veteran became one of the first females to be handed the reins of a blockbuster when she was hired for 2008's Deep Impact - and now she'll be working with two of the biggest females in Hollywood.
Leder will also executive produce the untitled morning show drama, based on an original idea by Michael Ellenberg, which chronicles the lives of the men and women behind the cameras of America's breakfast shows.
Aniston and Witherspoon are both among the producers.
