AceShowbiz - It seemed like Meghan Markle forgot to practice "the duchess slant" again when she attended the100th anniversary celebration of the Royal Air Force. The "Horrible Bosses" actress was caught on camera breaking another royal etiquette by crossing her legs during the event at Westminster Abbey on Tuesday, July 10.

Meghan was seen slipping her right leg over her left before quickly correcting herself by sliding her ankle down. Despite the royal faux pas, the Duchess of Sussex looked beautiful in her black Dior dress as she held Prince Harry's hand and walked into the Abbey before sitting behind Queen Elizabeth.

Meghan Markle disobeys royal protocol again by crossing her legs at an event with the Queen

Meghan Markle is caught on camera crossing her legs during the anniversary of Royal Air Force event.

It was the second time Meghan committed royal faux pas at an event with the Queen. In June, the Duchess faced criticism when she was spotted crossing her legs during the Young Leaders Awards ceremony at Buckingham Palace, which she attended with Prince Harry and the Queen. Afterward, some fans criticized her on the Royal Family's Facebook account.

"Duchess of Sussex has her legs crossed wrong. What a disrespect to the queen," one pointed out. "Meghan don't cross your legs, Queen doesn't like that," a user told the former actress while another wrote, "Meghan is crossing her legs...awful photo. Am I being too picky?"

Although there is no official protocol on how royal women have to sit near the Queen, Beaumont Etiquette founder Myka Meier explained that "the most formal way for a lady to sit is with her knees and ankles together at all times." Myka continued, "It's sophisticated, protects vulnerabilities and looks fabulous in photos."

On the other hand, Prince Harry and the Royal Family have been incredibly supportive and understanding. The Queen herself reportedly didn't put any pressure on her at all. "The funny thing is that the Queen is actually incredibly gracious to Meghan, she doesn't put any pressure on her at all, it's actually quite the opposite," a palace source told HollywoodLife.com.
