AceShowbiz - Actor Jason Bateman has signed a multi-year film and TV deal with bosses at streaming service Netflix.

The Horrible Bosses star is teaming up with film producer/executive Michael Costigan to form a new partnership under the actor's Aggregate production company.

Bateman and Costigan will combine their platforms and will work together to develop new content for Netflix, on which Jason has already experienced small screen success.

"Michael and I are incredibly fortunate that Aggregate has been welcomed into the Netflix fold," Bateman says. "Through my experience with (TV show) Arrested Development and now Ozark, I have seen first-hand the positive, thriving culture that (Netflix bosses) have created. We look forward to working hard with their dedicated and creative teams to contribute to the enormous momentum and high quality content that Netflix delivers".
