The 'Dancing with the Stars' pro posts never-before-seen video of him and Peta exchanging vows at New York City Hall before they did it at Oheka Castle last year.

AceShowbiz - Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd celebrated their first wedding anniversary on Sunday, July 8 by sharing their secret wedding video on Instagram. In the sweet video, the "Dancing with the Stars" pros exchanged vows at New York City Hall, revealing they were already married before their lavish wedding ceremony at Oheka Castle in Long Island.
The video saw the couple holding hands and staring at each other lovingly as they recited their vows. Peta opted to dress in a one-shoulder lavender shirt and khaki-colored pants that she paired with nude heels. She also had a bouquet of pink roses in one hand. Meanwhile, her husband donned white jeans paired with a black button-up shirt.
"Before we did it in front of 300," Maksim wrote at the beginning of the caption. "This was one of the most exciting days of my life! Everything felt very festive, I couldn't take my eyes off my future wife the whole ride to the City Hall and it was as if New York City herself was marrying us," he recalled. "I can't believe it's been a year. I still can't believe you chose me. I can't believe I get to live this dream with you by my side for the rest of my life and I promise to earn every second of your love."
After writing the sweet words and a promise, the Ukrainian dancer declared his love. "I love you @petamurgatroyd," he wrote. "Happy anniversary, baby." He then completed the caption with a hashtag "#FavoritePersonEver."
Peta didn't want to let the special day slip by either as she posted a picture of their romantic moment on her own account. Peta was seen smiling excitedly and closing her eyes as her hubby planted a kiss on her cheek in the photo.
"Today I married the man I fell in love with so many years ago. I knew he was the one. There was something so electric between us that people will still tell me about to this day. I love you @maksimc," she captioned it. "This has been an incredible, outrageous year for us! I pray we are this happy for the rest of our lives. You're everything I knew you were #HappyAnniversary #ToUs."
The pair are parents to Shai Aleksander Chmerkovskiy, who was born on January 4, 2017 in New York City.
