AceShowbiz - Rapper Juelz Santana has been ordered to attend an anger management programme before he is able to return home to his girlfriend.

In March, the Dipset star surrendered to police officers days after Newark Liberty International Airport security found a loaded 38-caliber handgun and non-prescribed oxycodone pills in a carry-on bag containing Santana's identification. The 36-year-old was subsequently released on $500,000 (£380,000) bail and is currently living with his mother and brother.

Santana, real name LaRon James, has requested to return to the home he shares with his girlfriend, Kimbella Vanderhee, and their children, but he must first attend an anger management programme before a judge will consider the move. The judge's decision reportedly stems from a past domestic violence incident between the couple.

Meanwhile, the 36-year-old rap star has been granted permission to tour with his fellow Dip Set bandmates as long as his mother is there to chaperone - and he can only travel by car. He is also not allowed to stay with his tour mates, according to Bossip.

The rapper has pleaded not guilty to charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and carrying a weapon on an aircraft, and faces up to 20 years in prison.
