The actress says in an interview, 'I think every single one of my exes called me and asked if they could rub it'

AceShowbiz - Actress Sanaa Lathan has been inundated with calls from ex-boyfriends after shaving off her hair for new Netflix movie "Nappily Ever After".

The "Out of Time" star wasn't sure if the bald look would suit her but she understood she'd have to bring out the clippers because her character opts for a drastic new look in the film - and she admits she was getting a little tired with her curls.

"I knew I had to do it for the movie and you guys will actually get to see me shave it on camera and I was really ready for it because I have a lot of hair and I wasn't doing anything with it; I was walking around looking like a homeless woman," she tells "The Talk".

"I was just over it, I was tired of it."

But Sanaa was still a little nervous and she turned to stylist Larry Sims for advice: "It was still so terrifying and I asked Larry Sims, who did the hair on the movie and is a world-renowned stylist, 'Do you think my head will look OK?' and he said, 'Yeah baby, your head is gonna look amazing!'

"We did the scene and he ran onto the set and he was crying and he said, 'Your head is perfect!' I was like, 'Wait a second, you said it was gonna be perfect', and he said, 'I didn't know'."

But the best was yet to come, after Sanaa posted a shot of herself with her new look on social media - and then started hearing from her former lovers.

"I was so shocked because we associate hair in this culture with beauty and attracting men... and I think every single one of my exes called me and asked if they could rub it!".
