AceShowbiz - Stone Temple Pilots guitarist Dean Deleo's wife Jenn has filed for divorce - alleging the rocker is an abusive alcoholic.

According to the legal documents obtained by TMZ.com, she claims he made violent threats towards her, confessed to being unfaithful and told her to leave their home during a heated argument that took place in front of their six-year-old daughter June.

Jenn alleges Dean has been battling alcohol and drug issues since 2012, shortly after their wedding. She states her fears for June's safety around Dean, claiming the 56-year-old rockstar once took their daughter into the ocean while drunk - and almost allowed her to drown.

In her divorce filing, the musician's estranged wife also claims Dean assaulted her following another drinking binge, when she found her husband passed out in the garage with the car engine running and the garage door shut. She says that after waking he vomited, and was so violent towards her that he almost killed her. She also claims he's tried to strangle her several times during their relationship.

Among Jenn's other allegations are that he abused his son from a previous marriage and that he boasted to her that he could have his ex killed - meaning she has been left fearing for her life if she leaves him.

Jenn also claims Dean has threatened to commit suicide if she ends their relationship, like their personal friend and his former bandmate Chester Bennington.

Another assault allegedly occurred just before America's Thanksgiving holiday last year, when she confronted him about his infidelity - although the actress and model decided against pressing charges at the time. She is now seeking custody of June, as well as child and spousal support.

According to TMZ, Jenn says the #MeToo movement empowered her to file for divorce. The 40-year-old is also one of hundreds of women who have accused director and screenwriter James Toback of sexual misconduct. James has denied the allegations.
