AceShowbiz - Lea Thompson will always be grateful to Tom Cruise because he stood up for her when moviemakers asked her to bare her breasts in their 1983 movie All the Right Moves.

The actress played the Mission: Impossible star's girlfriend in the movie and Thompson reveals the original script called for her to get nude twice.

She explains she didn't audition for the movie because she did not want to take her top off, but she still landed the role.

"This is a funny story about how generous he was," she tells Closer Weekly. "They wanted me to show my breasts twice in the script. I didn't even audition because I didn't want to take my shirt off, but I got the part and was like, 'OK'".

"Tom managed to talk them out of one of the (nude) scenes, and in the second, he said, 'Well, if she has to be naked, I'll be naked, too'," she adds. "That's pretty bada**! I've always been grateful to him for standing up to the producers".
