AceShowbiz - Actress Dove Cameron has shot down rumours suggesting she and her boyfriend Thomas Doherty are on the verge of splitting up.

The 22-year-old actress took to Twitter on Monday, June 11 to set the record straight after some fans misinterpreted some of her recent social media posts.

"PSA: THOMAS AND I ARE FINE," she wrote. "no we are not broken up yes we are still together no we are not fighting we are madly in love and better than ever please stop speculating/spreading rumors when you have absolutely no basis all smooth sailing over here thanks for checking innnnnn."

Dove and Thomas have been dating for 18 months after meeting on the set of "Descendants 2".

She was previously engaged to actor Ryan McCartan, her boyfriend of four years. They met on the set of Disney show "Liv and Maddie" and split in 2016.

She went public with her romance with Doherty at the beginning of last year, after visiting him in London and sharing photos of their break, including one shot of herself in pyjamas.

Cameron tweeted: "love's cool".
