Ana Pessina and her girlfriend, Helena, were among the lucky concert-goers who got to go backstage after the Closer hitmaker kicked off the Latin American leg of her Hopeless Fountain Kingdom World Tour in Sao Paolo, where they had their picture taken with Halsey.
However, Helena decided to make the most of the opportunity and got down on bended knee, proposing to Ana in front of the singer, who had been in on the surprise all along.
Ana tells TheBlast.com Helena had approached Halsey about her romantic plan minutes earlier, and the musician made sure the professional photographer caught multiple images of the sweet moment as it unfolded.
The brides-to-be subsequently extended an invitation to Halsey to attend their future nuptials, where they plan to share their first dance to her Colors hit.
