However, the comedian doesn't want to make a big deal out of it because 'it's one of those things where I'm waiting on her to say it.'

AceShowbiz - Kevin Hart has joked that Tiffany Haddish is yet to pay back the cash he once loaned her.

The two comedy stars are promoting their new film "Night School", which tells of a group of troublemakers who are forced to attend night classes in the hope they'll pass the GED exam to finish high school.

During an interview on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Thursday night (May 31), Kevin shared that they've known each other since before they were household names, and he even gave her some money when she was going through a rough patch.

"She was living out of her car, nobody knew, she was trying to keep it a secret. And something just wasn't right, something wasn't sitting right, and I was like, 'Yo, you alright? Is everything O.K. with you?' And she was like, 'Yeah, yeah I'm fine.' And randomly I'm like, 'Where do you live at?' She couldn't answer the questions and that's when I found out she was living out of a car," he recalled. "And of course, I was nowhere near Kevin Hart today but in my pocket, I had $300. And I was like here, I don't know what your situation is but hopefully this can do something for you in this time because I feel like you're not telling me something."

Kevin later found out that Tiffany had used the money to stay in a motel for a week.

Though they fell out of touch for a long time, once Tiffany hit the big time, they reconnected. And the "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" actor teased that he's still waiting on payment from his pal.

"Until this day, she's yet to bring up the money to give it back," the 38-year-old laughed. "I don't want to make a big deal out of it. It's one of those things where I'm waiting on her to say it. And when she says it, I'll be like, 'Yeah (don't worry about it).'"

Previously, "Girls Trip" star Tiffany told Vanity Fair that she had tried to give Kevin money on two occasions - when he cast her in parody show Real Husbands of Hollywood and again when she got the part in "Night School".
