Potential Plot of 'Spider-Man: Homecoming 2' Is Here and It's Convincing Enough

AceShowbiz - There is not much known about "Spider-Man: Homecoming 2" until recently. Purported plot details of the Marvel superhero movie sequel have found its way out online as a Reddit user under the name of U/AHarbingerOfStuff claims in his/her post that the movie [SPOILER ALERT!] will be titled "Spider-Man: Field Trip".

Fans seemingly find the supposed title quite convincing given it continues the school theme of 2017's "Homecoming". In addition, the title reflects the recent confirmation that the sequel will be set beyond New York City.

Unlike the previous rumored plot details, the recent purported synopsys mentions that "Homecoming 2", which will begin filming in June in Atlanta, will come sequentially after "Avengers 4". According to the rumored plot details, the upcoming movie will feature Tom Holland's Pete Parker dealing with the loss of his mentor, Tony Stark, in "Avengers 4".

It is allegedly will be set in London with a slew of new characters appearing. Parker and his classmates cross the pond to attend a conference sponsored by Stark Enterprises. Not only intodrucing Jessica Drew, a British agent pursuin Mysterio, the new movie is said to be featuring a new rival for Peter, prodigy Alistair Smythe, who in the comics is known as the villain Ultimate Spider-Slayer.

The purported details also note that Scorpion and Vulture will appear in the movie. Vulture is known as Marvel Comics villain who is revealed as the employer of Mysterio, who is rumored to be played by Jake Gyllenhaal. Vulture is also said to be a buildup to the Sinister Six.

Nothing has been officially confirmed, but the user claims that it's from "a reliable source." Fans will find out whether the rumor is true on July 5, 2019. Jon Watts will once again serve behind the lens with the script written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
