Based on William Shakespeare's plays Henry IV and Henry V the project will also star Timothee Chalamet as Hal, a disgraced young prince who leans on his friend Falstaff, played by Joel Edgerton, to teach him how to be a king after he inherits the throne in the 1400s.

Pattinson will play the Dauphin of France, while Depp will portray Princess Catherine. Ben Mendelsohn will tackle the role of King Henry IV.

The movie, directed by David Michod, will begin shooting in the U.K. on Friday, June 01. It will be released on streaming service Netflix next year (19).
