The couple has been dating for a little over a year, and sources reveal that the singer is ready to walk down the aisle. However, she allegedly starts to get impatient as the former baseball player has yet to propose to her.
According to Life & Style (via Celebrity Insider), Jenny thinks Alex is "the one," but she doesn't want to put too much pressure on him since both of them have been married before. That isn't going to stop her from looking at rings and pointing out what she likes when they walk past a jewelry store, though.

Rumors of their engagement first sparked after Jenny released her Latin single "El Anillo", which prompted people to speculate that she was expecting an engagement ring from her hunky boyfriend as "El Anillo" means "The Ring".
Alex previously addressed the engagement rumors during his appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", insisting he isn't gearing up to propose anytime soon. Talking about the song, he said, "I read the song and I go, 'Babe, it sounds like they're talking about us.' And she goes, 'Yeah! They made it for me.' I heard it for the first time and I knew it was going to be a smash the first time I heard it."
When asked whether he was thinking about proposing to the New York-born diva, Alex coyly replied, "I wasn't thinking about it. When it happens, Jimmy, you'll be the first to know!"
