Calling it 'extremely improper,' the 53-year-old woman writes on Twitter that the honor 'looks like it was drawn by someone in a kindergarten classroom.'

AceShowbiz - While everyone is satisfied with Meghan Markle's coat of arms, one person doesn't feel the same. Her half sister, Samantha Markle, has taken to Twitter to slam the Duchess of Sussex over the design of the latter's special honor.

In a series of tweets, the 53-year-old woman shared that she was disappointed after knowing that their father, Thomas Markle, was not named on the coat of arms, calling it "extremely improper." She added, "Our father is American but we have ties in the family tree to royalty in several places according to college of arms."

"According to the college of arms in American should be named the coat of arms if he is in anyway related to royalty. My father is," she continued in another tweet. "What is represented on this coat of arms communication is weak. Where is their representation of women's right or humanitarianism?" Samantha also noted that the coat of arms "looks like it was drawn by someone in a kindergarten classroom."

Samantha set her Twitter account to private afterward.

Meghan's coat of arms was unveiled on Friday, May 25, almost a week after the "Suits" alum and Prince Harry tied the knot at Windsor Castle. The honor features a golden lion wearing a crown and a white songbird with its wings elevated. While the golden lion is Harry's supporter, the white songbird is Meghan's supporter. Kensington Palace issued a statement detailing the Duchess' honor, revealing the her supporter, along with three quills, "represent the power of communication."

Meghan worked closely with designers at the College of Arms in London to create her new honor. Thomas Woodcock, Garter King of Arms and Senior Herald in England, revealed in a statement that she "took a great interest in the design." He added, "Good hearldic design is nearly always simple and the Arms of the Duchess of Sussex stand well beside the historic beauty of the quartered British Royal Arms."
