AceShowbiz - Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer has signed on to play movie icon Vivien Leigh in a new TV series.
The British actress, also known for her work in The Hunger Games, will also produce the drama, which will chronicle the Gone With the Wind star's private and professional life.
Stewart Harcourt will pen the script, based on Kendra Bean's 2013 biography, Vivien Leigh: An Intimate Portrait.
Producers Sally Haynes and Laura Mackey tell Deadline, "We are incredibly excited to be collaborating with the brilliant Natalie Dormer to play an iconic star like Vivien Leigh and to bring this extraordinary unknown story to a wider audience".
