Drake Blasts Pusha T and Kanye West on New Diss Track 'Duppy Freestyle'
Music

The 'God's Plan' rapper fires back at Pusha after the latter appears to diss him on 'Infrared', which was produced by Kanye, for his alleged use of ghostwriters.

AceShowbiz - Drake is not in a nice mode right now. After Pusha T appeared to take aim at the hip-hop superstar for his alleged use of ghostwriters on "Infrared", the "Hotline Bling" spitter has responded with a new song. Titled "Duppy Freestyle", the song was unveiled on Soundcloud on Friday, May 26.

Not only Pusha, but Drake also takes a jab at Kanye West, who produced "Infrared". Drake opens the song by rapping, "I'm in shock. The nerve, the audacity," before he raps about how Pusha's diss is hypocritical considering that Kanye required Drake's help in writing songs in the past.

"So if you rebuke me for working with someone else on a couple Vs/ What do you really think of the n***a that's making your beats?/ I've done things for him I though he never would need," he spits. "Father had to stretch his hands out and get it from me/ I pop style for 30 hours, then let him repeat."

Drake doesn't stop there. "Don't push me when I'm in album mode/ You not even top 5 as far as your label talent goes," he goes on rapping. "I had a microphone of yours/ But then the signature faded/ I think that pretty much resembles what's been happening lately." He closes the song by rhyming, "Tell 'Ye we got an invoice comin' to you/ Considering we just sold another 20 for you."

Pusha has responded to Drake's diss track, writing on Twitter, "Send the invoice for the extra 20..."

"Duppy Freestyle" follows his latest singles "Nice for What", "God's Plan" and "Diplomatic Immunity". Drake is currently working on his forthcoming album "Scorpion", which is expected to be released in June. Following the release of the album, the "Views" rapper will hit the road along with Migos.
