AceShowbiz - Country star Sam Hunt is suffering from a serious bout of "baby fever".

The Body Like a Back Road singer celebrated his first wedding anniversary with Hannah Lee Fowler last month, and he cannot wait to become a dad - he just has to convince his wife they're ready.

"I've got more baby fever than my wife, I think," he quipped during an appearance on Nashville, Tennessee radio show Ty, Kelly & Chuck Mornings, "but she's coming around. The past couple of weeks she's brought it up a couple of times!"

The 33-year-old musician, who admits they are still in the honeymoon phase of their marriage, previously revealed he was starting to feel broody in 2015, after spending time with fellow country star Hillary Scott's young daughter, Eisele, while he was on tour with her band Lady Antebellum.

"She's awesome...," Sam told Taste of Country Nights radio. "She came up to say hello one day at catering and we became buddies and we hung out all summer...! She's a blast."

And talking about his own family plans at the time, he added, "I'm not necessarily ready (to become a father) right this second, but I thought about that a lot just hanging out with Eisele... I'd like to have a little girl or little boy, or both, or several. Yeah, I think that's in my future, hopefully."
