The Migos rapper says he 'could have been dead from this accident' as he shares photos of his wrecked car and his bloody lips following the car crash in Atlanta, Georgia.

AceShowbiz - Migos star Offset has shared some gruesome photographs from his recent car accident.

The 26-year-old hip-hop star was hospitalised in the early hours of Thursday, May 17, morning following a car crash in Atlanta, Georgia. According to TMZ, he lost control of his Dodge Challenger, crashed, and was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

"This is why I thank God Every day I could have been dead from this accident thank you all for you prayers all I can say is (G O D I S R E A L G E T W I T H H I M ) H E S A V E S L I V E S (sic)," the rapper wrote alongside a slideshow of images posted on his Instagram page on Saturday, May 19.

His fiancee Cardi B, who is expecting the couple's first baby, blamed a "crackhead" for the accident in a now-deleted post on Twitter.

"Crazy how Set had to swerve and hit a tree cause a crackhead was in the middle of the road trying to get hit or kill himself," she wrote on Saturday. "But God do unexplainable things! Luckily a man was walking by, walked him home and just vanished. The Lord is real."

In the photos the rapper shared online, he appears to be lying in a bed with a hospital bracelet on his wrist.

Police officers are now looking to find out why Offset, real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus, left the scene of the crash and if anyone else was with him in the vehicle.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that police officers found the car abandoned after a passer-by reported it. They then called a tow truck to remove the vehicle - but the insiders claimed two unknown individuals pulled up in another car and allegedly cleared out items from the car before it was towed.

One was reportedly heard saying Offset crashed while swerving to avoid someone who had run out in front of him. There were no victims, witnesses or damage to other vehicles - and investigators have been unable to confirm who was behind the wheel.
