AceShowbiz - Meghan Markle wore a stunning gown created by British designer Clare Waight Keller, head of Givenchy, as she wed Prince Harry on Saturday, May 19. The former "Suits" actress wowed the crowds at Windsor Castle as she made her highly-anticipated entrance on the steps of St George's Chapel, putting an end to the speculation over who would design one of the most photographed dresses of the century.

"You look amazing," Harry told his bride, as she bucked tradition and walked the first part of the aisle in the chapel alone, before being joined by her new father-in-law Prince Charles halfway.

Meghan's stunning silk gown featured an open neckline and sculpted waist, with an organza silk train and long sleeves.

The delicate silk tulle veil featured a trim of hand-embroidered flowers in silk threads and organza, and represented the flora of each Commonwealth country, as according to Kensington Palace officials, Meghan wished to have all 53 countries "with her on her journey through the ceremony."

A beautiful tiara, adorned with diamonds, held the veil in place, and was lent to Meghan by Queen Elizabeth II. The stunning piece of jewellery originally belonged to Queen Mary, and the jewel in the centre of the bandeau dates from 1893. Meghan's shoes were also manufactured by French fashion house Givenchy and crafted from white silk duchess satin.
