The song is an empowering ballad about the right for women to speak up and to pursue their dreams without falling into society's expectations.

AceShowbiz - Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato's highly-anticipated duet is finally here. Titled "Fall in Line", the track was premiered on Wednesday, May 16. It is set to be included on Tina's forthcoming album "Liberation".

"Fall in Line" is an empowering ballad about the right for women to speak up and to pursue their dreams without falling into society's expectations. Tina opens the track with her raw voice before joining forces with Demi on the chorus, showcasing their powerful voices.

"It's just the way it is/ And maybe it's never gonna change/ But I got a mind to show my strength/ And I got a right to speak my mind," they sing. "And I'm gonna pay for this/ They're gonna burn me at the stake/ But I got a fire in my veins/ I wasn't made to fall in line/ No, I wasn't made to fall in line."

"Fall in Line" is the third single off the effort, following "Accelerate" and "Twice". The pop stars are scheduled to debut live performance of the track at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, which will be held on May 20 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

In a recent interview, Tina noted that she had recorded the song a few years ago, before the #MeToo movement happened. "I have always wanted to be that advocate for women and anybody that was kind of struggling to have their own voice," she said. "And 'Fall in Line' directly references to believing in yourself and believing to have a voice in its opening lines."

Talking about collaborating with Demi, the blonde singer noted, "I love collaborating and I love other powerful women and I knew I wanted to share this with another powerhouse singer that can just blow and hit high notes and take this to the next place with me and Demi kind of seems to fit that bill."

She then gushed over the former Disney darling, saying, "I felt that she was so sweet and a girl's girl which is so important after we are beat up so much by the media... when I first heard her vocals on this track I started tearing up and it's everything I wanted and she definitely put her own spin on it and took it to the next level."
