AceShowbiz - Beastie Boys' first memoir is set to include contributions from comedienne Amy Poehler and filmmakers Spike Jonze and Wes Anderson. The Beastie Boys Book will feature rare photos, original illustrations, a cookbook, a graphic novel, a map of Beastie Boys' New York and mixtape playlists.
The surviving members of the trio, Mike D and Ad-Rock, have been working on the project since 2013.
Officially announcing the release of the book via Twitter, the two rappers wrote: "I'm not sure if you remember, but a while ago we said we were gonna write a book about our band. Well, it's almost done and it's coming out soon."
